With our Barnsley Centre just 2 minutes from J36 of the M1 we pride ourselves in offering the best service throughout Yorkshire, as well as being highly reputed nationally.

History:

Our initial centre was first launched in November 1996 and was known as, Barnsley Industrial Training Centre and delivered training and assessment under ACoP (Approved Code of Practice) to a number of recognised national companies and local Council Authorities, e.g. Leeds City Council, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Transco, Gas Force, to name but a few.

Subsequent to the introduction of the Accredited Certification Scheme Barnsley Industrial Training Centre was one of the first assessment centres in the country to attain accreditation and continued to enjoy increased demand for its services.

In 2005 we introduced Electrical assessments to our training portfolio and with further expansion in 2007 we sought improved facilities with easy access to the M1.

Bgas now has a be-spoke centre just 2 minutes from M1 Junction 36.

The facilities at Bgas consist of 7 training rooms, 5 Training bays, 3 theoretical assessment room, 12 assessment bays, an Ariston suite dedicated to specific training on the manufacturers equipment and a large canteen facility, providing meals and refreshments.
